Freedomwatch on states rights

Another great freedom watch with Judge Napolitano primarily focusing on States Rights as well as discussing the libertarian leaning republicans. Another great show, I really look forward to these.

Good luck to John Dennis who has opened an exploratory committee and might run opposite Nancy Pelosi. I wish him the best of luck, as speaker of the house of representatives, she's doing what she can to prevent the Audit the Fed bill to come up for a vote. Getting rid of her in favor of a libertarian leaning candidate would be a wonderful thing.

Bob Shultz was also on talking about givemeliberty.org's goal of education regarding the constitution as well as their upcoming Continental Congress. Seems to be an interesting organization.

Nick Gillespie, editor in chief for both reason.com and reason.tv was also on briefly. I enjoy his stuff on reason and despite his brief appearance, he had some good stuff to say. Also making brief but good appearances were David Boaz from Cato, Ron Paul and Tom Woods.

The topics discussed were very interesting. They primarily focused on the Red team vs. the Blue team, ie. how they both do the same things but each side is very critical of the other. There were several examples such as how most of the anti-war people seem to be "democrats first and anti-war second" (kudos to Nick Gillespie for that phrase) which is why none of them are out right now protesting the war. Obama hasn't brought back the troops from Iraq and has escalated their involvement in Afghanistan. Not to leave out the right, how many people who currently oppose Obama's health care plan voted for Bush's medicare prescription plan?

I really enjoy Judge Napolitano, he's done a lot of great work in education people on what is constitutional and what liberty really means. If you haven't seen it, I really encourage you to check it out. I've included the youtube playlist below and you can see past episodes at freedomwatchonfox.com.
